The IKKO

What is it?

The Independent Kyokushin Organisation – (IKKO) came into being to to demonstrate that Africa can lead in the fighting philosophy of Mas Oyama… It was established by Daihyo Kenneth Mahlangu.

Daihyo realised that many instructors only want to join to get rank and were doing organisation hopping with the intention of getting promotions. Therefore the IKKO was streamlined by being selective of accepting members and since then the organisation has grown slowly, one step at a time.

Daihyo Mahlangu is a member of the WORLD SABAKI FEDERATION (WSF), an organisation headed by Kaicho Hoosain Narker as well as the WORLD KUMITE ORGANISATION (WKO), headed by Kancho Robert McInnes based in Pattaya, Thailand.
